Two Infinity and Beyond

This past weekend we celebrated our youngest who turned 2! He is a huge fan of Toy Story so we knew we needed to have it as a theme for his birthday. Although this year was a bit different than how I would normally celebrate one of the kids birthdays, we still had a lot of fun decorating it for it and enjoying it with the immediate family.

Our recent playroom refresh turned out to be the best backdrop for the party! I wanted to keep the decor simple and easy. I gathered up all of his Toy Story toys to use as decor on the shelves and on the counter. It was the perfect pop of color that we needed. 

Then I created a few wall art pieces on Canva. Do you use this program? If not, you should! It provides a variety different options to create wall art, signs, flyers, worksheets, logos, and more. After creating the art pieces, I printed them off and put them in frames. For the larger print, I had it printed off at Staples on poster board. I love how they all turned out. 

For the rest of the decor, I created this gray balloon arch. I can say it was not the easiest thing to put together and I probably spent WAY to much working on it. I bought a kit off of Amazon that came with everything that you needed to put up the display - sticky dots, hooks, string, and more. In the end, I probably could have gone without it mainly because of how much time I spent on it, but it add a nice element to the display. 

The last finishing touches were the hanging army men that I created using clear fishing string and coffee filters. Those were fun to make and the boys loved throwing them in the air and watching them fall. I loved how everything turned out and my son's reaction to the whole display melted my heart. He was so happy to share his day with his immediate family, and Woody and friends. For all the sources to the party, you can find them below.
