As Easter approaches and spring blossoms, parents are often on the hunt for creative and fun ways to celebrate with the kids. One beloved Easter tradition is putting together Easter baskets, filled with goodies that the kids will love. If you're looking for ideas on what to include in your Easter baskets with a spring-inspired twist this year, here's a simple formula to follow: a clothing item, a book or activity, a sweet treat, a lovey, and a spring-inspired craft.

While I know it may not be everyone, I LOVE putting together baskets for my kids for the holidays. However, it does need to include meaningful gifts that are useful whether it be a clothing item they need, a hands-on activity, or an opportunity for them to learn and read. These are all things I think about when curating their baskets.
A Clothing Item
Start off by selecting a spring-inspired clothing item that your child will love. Whether it's a colorful pair of pajamas, a new swimsuit for the upcoming pool season, or a raincoat for the spring showers, a clothing item is a practical and fun addition to any Easter basket.

Book or Activity
Next, include a book or activity in your child's Easter basket. Choose a book that's about spring, such as a nature guide or a storybook about gardening. Alternatively, include an activity that's spring-inspired, such as a flower-pot painting kit or a butterfly-catching net. A book or activity is a great way to encourage learning and spark your child's imagination.
Sweet Treat
Of course, no Easter basket is complete without a sweet treat. Whether it's a chocolate bunny, jelly beans, or a fruit-flavored treat, a sweet treat is sure to delight your child's taste buds.
Lovey (Stuffed Animal)
A lovey, or a stuffed animal, is a perfect addition to any Easter basket. Choose an animal that your child loves, or one that matches the spring theme (such as a bunny or a lamb). A lovey can be a source of comfort and a companion for your child long after Easter has passed.

Spring-Inspired Craft
Finally, include a spring-inspired craft in your child's Easter basket. This can be a kit for making flower crowns, birdhouses, or even a mini garden. A craft is a great way to encourage creativity and keep your child entertained.
Putting together an Easter basket with a spring twist can be a fun and rewarding experience for both you and your child. By following this simple formula, you can create a basket that's filled with practical, fun, and meaningful items that celebrate the joy and renewal of the spring season.
